Documentation besides the language report
Created by: dopefishh
It would be nice to have indexed documentation from other sources than the --- outdated --- language report.
For example, the FFI documentation now happens to be in the
ccall documentation but should have it's own page somewhere.
My first idea was to add sections to https://cloogle.org/doc. However, this appears to be a bit hard right now because of the integration of the language report with search results. It would be nice if the contents are, in analogy to common-problems, index from markdown and automagically converted so that the effort needed for improving the documentation by others is very low.
I would like to see manuals for at least:
FFI (now in
ccall) as an extension to the 'Calling C from Clean' document.
- Dynamics (a lot of things are missing from the report)
- RTS (https://gitlab.science.ru.nl/cstaps/clean-rts-cheat-sheet)
clm, differences in clean versions)
- Syntax documentation, now hard-coded in the index
- ABC documentation, idem
