+Gitlab pages stopped working, because the S3 backend was on the Ceph storage,
+which had a temporary problem where a lot of storage processes failed with
+memory issues. We have adjusted the configuration to reduce the chance of this
+in the future.
+
+We may remove the dependency on Ceph entirely in the future for all our gitlab
+pages instances.

+Gitlab pages was tijdelijk onbereikbaar door een storing in de S3 backend op
+Ceph, waar een tijdelijk probleem optrad met meerdere processen die geheugen
+problemen hadden. We hebben de configuratie inmiddels aangepast, waardoor de
+kans dat dit weer mis gaat kleiner wordt.
+
+We overwegen om de afhankelijkheid van Ceph helemaal uit de gitlab pages
+configuratie te halen.
